MTB Mountain Bike Challenge
The eLAN SA Rugby Legends will be participating in the inaugural Blythedale Coastal Resort MTB Mountain Bike Challenge on Sunday 14 February, and will be promoting the Rob Louw Celebrate Life campaign as his fight against cancer begins after the Springbok legend survived round one. Situated North of Ballito on the KZN North Coast this new event adds another dimension to the cycling calendar giving riders and their family members the unique opportunity of experiencing the wonderful lifestyle that Blythedale could possibly offer them. One couldn’t ask for a better venue to help promote Celebrate Life for one of South Africa’s favorite Rugby sons. It is truly a beautifully tranquil setting that epitomizes everything that Celebrate Life stands for. Registration takes place between 6.30am and 8.30am with race face scheduled for an 8.30am start The pre-race entry fee for the 40km ride is R130 and the late entry fee is R150 while for the pre-entry fee for the 19km ride is R90 and the late entry fee is R110. The best news is the fact that the organizers have allowed an entry fee of R20 for a 6km ride on the day. So come ride with the legends and enjoy the natural surroundings of this beautiful coastal resort. Pink Celebrate Life wrist bands will also be on sale for R30 with the proceeds going to the Legends Celebrate Life Trust fund for the fight against cancer.
