Legends of Rugby at Kathu

TWO FORMER SPRINGBOK CAPTAINS, loose forwards Corne Krige and Gary Teichmann have been included in the 27 man Elan SA Rugby Legends squad to play the Kathu Old Boys team on Friday evening at 6pm. Other former Boks in the tour party include centre Pieter Muller, locks Quinten Daniels and Adri Geldenhuys together with flyhalf Braam van Straaten.

The SA Rugby Legends who have been engaged in many successful fundraising events in recent years will also be involved in a golf day on Saturday followed by a dinner scheduled for a 7pm start that evening. These former legends of the game we all hold dear deserve huge accolades for what they have put back into the sport creating so many wonderful opportunities to the underprivileged societies of our country. Here they are once again giving of their time and ready to conduct a clinic at 9am on Friday morning in the area under the watchful eyes of the old maestro himself the legendary Springbok coach and now Bok selector Ian McIntosh adding another golden opportunity for the new generation to meet and work with their heroes of yesteryear.
