White River Golf Club Fundraiser

The eLan SA Rugby Legends travelled to the beautiful town of White River recently to lend their support to former Free State, Sharks and Springbok lock Rudi Visagie at his annual fund raising golf day at the White River Golf Club, which by all accounts has to be one of the most attractive courses in the country with an absolutely stunning setting.

Every year the giant former Bok raises funds for the Apostolic Faith Church and this year Ian McIntosh, John Allan, Pieter Muller and former Blue Bulls and Sharks prop Gerhard Harding were on hand to participate in yet another worthwhile cause.

When asked who actually won the day Rudi quipped 'hell nee ou boet ek weet nie-but the prizes were brilliant and all I can say is thanks to the sponsors for their support.'

He was eternally greatful to John, Mac, Pieter and Gerhard for their wonderful support. The happy foursome formed a panel with Gerhard acting as MC-INDEED ALWAYS THE MASTER OF FUN AND GAMES. The function went down well as did the golf and Rudi looks forward to seeing everyone back next year.

Well done to Rudi and his team for organising yet another great golf day-certainly the Legends will be making an all out effort for the big man to hopefully be back next year.
